You can gift your personal property to any person (for example, your jewelry to your daughter, your house to your son). After your specific assets have been distributed to your beneficiaries, the remainder of your estate (known as the ‘residuary estate’) will then be distributed in accordance with the ‘Residuary Clause’ below.

After all specific gifts are made following your wishes as above, the remainder of your estate will be distributed according to this clause.
You can choose to either give the rest of your estate to a person or an entity (for example, a charitable organisation).
